[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 오는 28일부터 29일까지 월아산 숲속의 진주 일원에서 봄꽃 개화 시기에 맞춘 ‘월아산 봄봄봄 축제’를 개최한다고 24일 밝혔다.

 

이번 축제는 수선화와 벚꽃이 어우러진 자연 속에서 다양한 공연과 체험 프로그램을 통해 방문객들에게 특별한 봄날의 추억을 선사하기 위해 마련됐다.

 

월아산 숲속의 진주는 사계절 산림문화 콘텐츠를 선보여온 복합 산림복지시설로, 최근 방문객 증가와 함께 지역 대표 힐링 명소로 자리매김하고 있다.

 

지난해 약 7000명이 찾은 데 이어 올해는 사전 방문객 증가세에 힘입어 양일간 약 1만5000여 명이 축제장을 찾을 것으로 기대된다.

 

또 봄의 정원 파티를 주제로 드레스코드 이벤트와 ‘숲 화폐’ 프로그램을 운영해 방문객 참여를 유도하고 체험의 재미를 더할 예정이다.

 

현장에서는 스탬프 투어, 꽃밭 보물찾기, 포토존 운영 등 자유롭게 즐길 수 있는 체험형 콘텐츠가 마련돼 가족 단위 방문객의 호응이 예상된다.

 

또한 테라리움 만들기와 산돌이 분양 체험 등 자연 소재 프로그램과 함께 어린이 뮤지컬 ‘잭과 콩나무’ 및 클래식 기타 공연도 진행된다.

 

진주시 관계자는 “자연과 사람이 어우러지는 이번 축제를 통해 시민과 관광객 모두가 봄의 생동감과 산림치유의 가치를 경험하길 바란다”고 말했다.
