[브레이크뉴스=양영석 기자] 김해시와 김해의생명‧산업진흥원이 오는 6월 7일 김해 율하카페거리 만남교 일원에서 반려동물문화축제 ‘펫‧패‧페(Pet Family Festa)’를 개최한다.
행사는 오전 10시부터 오후 5시까지 진행되며 김해의생명‧산업진흥원과 핌피바이러스가 공동 주관한다. 경남도 공모사업인 ‘청년 365 핫플레이스 조성사업’의 하나로 마련됐다.
이번 축제는 유기동물 입양문화 확산과 반려동물 에티켓 문화 조성, 지역 반려동물 산업 활성화를 목표로 기획됐다. 김해시가 반려동물 문화를 주제로 개최하는 첫 대규모 행사다.
행사장에서는 무료 반려견 행동상담과 독 피트니스, 반려견 동반 요가, 반려동물 캐리커처 및 증명사진 촬영 등 체험형 프로그램이 운영된다. 반려견과 함께 관람할 수 있는 클래식 공연도 마련된다.
메인무대에서는 김해청년센터 반려견순찰대 오프닝 퍼레이드를 시작으로 유기견 입양 행사와 미니게임, 힐링요가 프로그램 등이 진행된다. 반려동물 인플루언서 ‘푸우형’이 참여하는 플로깅 행사도 열린다.
축제 현장에는 메오에마우, 책방묘미, 투포우야드 등 지역 반려동물 업체와 청년 창작자들이 참여하는 판매부스가 운영된다. 반려동물 의류와 디자인 상품, 도자기 소품 등을 선보일 예정이다.
김해시 동물복지팀과 김해생명과학고 동물자원과도 홍보부스를 운영해 반려동물 지원 정책과 동물복지 사업, 관련 진로 및 교육과정을 안내한다.
김해의생명‧산업진흥원 관계자는 “반려인과 비반려인이 함께 어울릴 수 있는 반려문화 환경 조성을 위해 행사를 마련했다”며 “청년층이 참여할 수 있는 반려문화 콘텐츠를 지속 확대할 계획”이라고 밝혔다.

Gimhae City and the Gimhae Institute of Biomedical & Industry Promotion will host the ‘Pet Family Festa’ on June 7 at the Mannam Bridge area of Yulha Cafe Street in Gimhae.
The event will run from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM and is jointly organized by the Gimhae Institute of Biomedical & Industry Promotion and Pimpy Virus. It was organized as part of the ‘Youth 365 Hot Place Creation Project,’ a public contest project by Gyeongsangnam-do.
This festival was planned with the goals of spreading a culture of adopting abandoned animals, fostering a culture of pet etiquette, and revitalizing the local pet industry. It is the first large-scale event hosted by Gimhae City with a focus on pet culture.
