[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도의 대표 청년문화 경연 프로그램인 ‘2026 경남 청년 버스킹 챌린지’가 역대 최다 참가 신청을 기록하며 본격적인 일정에 돌입한다.

 

경남도는 오는 13일 오후 5시 남해유배문학관 주무대에서 노래 분야 예선을 시작으로 ‘2026 경남 청년 버스킹 챌린지’를 개최한다고 밝혔다.

 

지난 2023년부터 운영 중인 이 행사는 청년 예술인들의 공연 기회를 확대하고 도민들에게 다양한 문화 향유 기회를 제공하기 위해 마련됐다.

 

올해는 기존 노래 중심의 경연 방식에서 벗어나 노래, 밴드·악기연주, 댄스 등 3개 분야로 확대해 보다 다양한 청년 공연 문화를 수용할 수 있도록 했다. 또한 대상 수상자 중심의 지원 방식 대신 참가자들이 함께 무대를 즐길 수 있는 콘서트형 프로그램을 새롭게 도입하고 출연료도 현실화해 청년 예술인 지원을 강화했다.

 

지난 4월 22일부터 5월 19일까지 참가자를 모집한 결과 총 69개 팀이 신청해 역대 가장 높은 관심을 나타냈다. 분야별로는 노래 34팀, 밴드·악기연주 25팀, 댄스 10팀이 접수됐으며 노래 부문 경쟁이 가장 치열했다.

 

경남도는 공연 영상 심사와 버스킹 활동 이력 평가를 통해 분야별 10팀씩 총 30개 팀을 예선 진출자로 선발했다.

 

첫 예선 무대인 노래 분야에는 박소연, 류희망, 플루이드, 김규민, 박순호, HOOK, 이준철, 홍창현, 김성엽, 임준형 등 10개 팀이 참가한다.

 

예선 현장을 찾지 못하는 도민들을 위해 공연 영상은 오는 15일 유튜브 ‘경남청년’을 통해 공개되며, 13일부터 26일까지 경남 청년정보플랫폼에서 온라인 투표도 진행된다. 투표 결과는 심사에 반영될 예정이다.

 

경남도는 노래 분야 예선에 이어 6월 27일 마산로봇랜드에서 밴드·악기연주 분야, 7월 11일 강구안 일원에서 댄스 분야 예선을 개최한 뒤 본선 진출자를 선발할 계획이다.

 

김성규 교육청년국장은 “청년 버스커들에게는 실력을 선보일 기회가 되고, 도민들에게는 청년 문화를 가까이에서 즐길 수 있는 문화행사가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.

Ten teams, including Soyeon Park, Huimang Ryu, Fluid, Gyumin Kim, Sunho Park, HOOK, Juncheol Lee, Changhyun Hong, Seongyeop Kim, and Junhyung Lim, will participate in the singing category, which is the first preliminary stage.

 

For residents who are unable to attend the preliminaries, the performance video will be released on YouTube ‘Gyeongnam Youth’ on the 15th, and online voting will also be held on the Gyeongnam Youth Information Platform from the 13th to the 26th.
