[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 지난 1일과 2일 관내 대학 소방방재학과에 재학 중인 몽골 유학생 31명을 대상으로 팸투어를 열었다고 2일 밝혔다. 

이번 팸투어는 지난 2020년 창원시와 몽골 소방청이 소방차량 양여 및 우호 교류 협약을 맺은 뒤로 지속적인 관광 교류를 위해 마련됐다.

팸투어 첫날 참가자들은 창원소재 플랜트 전문기업인 두산에너빌리티를 방문해 생산·설비 라인을 직접 둘러보는 산업관광의을 체험했다. 이어 창원 관광지인 해양드라마세트장과 로봇랜드에서 즐거운 시간을 가졌다.

둘째 날은 성산소방서를 찾아 소방 관련 기술을 전수받고, 현직 소방관의 생생한 직무 경험을 들으며 미래 소방인으로서 꿈을 키웠다. 

창원대에서 유학 중인 미쉘(21) 씨는 “타국에서 학업에만 신경 쓰느라 창원을 관광할 기회가 많이 없었는데, 이번 기회에 관광은 물론 소방 체험과 기업 견학으로 견문을 넓힐 수 있게 도와준 창원시에 감사하다”며 인사했다.

정진성 관광과장은 “유학생들이 학업을 마치고 자국으로 돌아갔을 때 창원관광에 대한 좋은 기억을 바탕으로 외국인 관광객 유치에 보탬이 되어주길 바라며, 이곳에서 배운 소방 기술이 자국으로 돌아가 몽골 발전에 귀하게 사용되고 쓰임 받길 바란다”고 말했다.
