[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시 조성환 기후환경국장은 11일 국내 최초의 무인대여 공공자전거 시스템인 ‘누비자’의 주요시설인 ▲ 창원레포츠파크 누비자 운영센터, ▲ 누비자 중앙센터, ▲ 위치정보 인식장치를 이용한 터미널 “누비존”과 ▲ 자전거 관련 시설인 안민MTB파크, ▲ 내서~광려천 자전거도로 조성사업 예정지 현장을 찾아 일제 점검을 실시했다.

이번 점검에서 조성환 기후환경국장은 공영자전거인 누비자의 운영 상황, 민원사항 청취, 수리·정비 중인 누비자 확인, 누비존 확인 및 누비자 시승을 통해 현장의 애로 사항을 청취하고 공유형 플러스 누비자 정착을 위해, 수고하는 종사원들의 노고를 격려하고, 철도유휴부지를 활용하여 조성 예정인 내서읍 용담리 신당터널 일원의 자전거도로 조성사업 예정부지도 방문했다.

창원시는 올 9월에 공유형 플러스 누비자 대전환을 위한 교체사업에 박차를 가하고 있으며, 내서 용담리 일원의 폐철도 부지가 시민들의 체육·여가 활동을 위한 자전거길로 재탄생 될 예정이라고 밝혔다.

조성환 기후환경국장은 “자전거도로 인프라 확대 구축과 생활자전거 도시를 조성하기 위하여 공유형 플러스 누비자 활성화 및 자전거 관련 시설 설치·관리에 만전을 기해줄 것”을 주문했다.
