▲ 창녕군, 모기·진드기 감염병 선제 대응

[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 창녕군이 기후변화와 야외활동 증가에 따른 감염병 위험에 대응하기 위해 모기와 진드기 등 감염병 매개체 감시체계를 구축하고 선제적 방역에 나섰다.

 

군은 지난 5월부터 6월까지 공동주택 등을 중심으로 정화조 327개소의 모기 유충 서식 실태를 조사하고 있으며, 창녕읍과 남지읍, 부곡온천 관광특구 등 인구 밀집 지역을 대상으로 모기 성충의 개체 수와 밀도 조사도 병행하고 있다.

 

조사 결과는 모기 발생 양상과 서식 환경을 분석해 지역별 맞춤형 방역 대책을 수립하는 기초자료로 활용된다.

 

군은 모기 활동이 활발한 5월부터 10월까지를 집중 방역 기간으로 정하고 감염병 취약지역과 민원 다발지역을 중심으로 방역 차량을 활용한 연무소독을 실시하고 있다. 정화조와 하수구 등 주요 서식지에는 유충구제제를 투입해 성충 발생을 사전에 차단하고 있다.
