[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군이 오는 15일부터 26일까지 12일간 군민체육공원 인조구장에서 ‘제34회 여왕기 전국여자축구대회’를 개최한다.

대한축구협회와 스포츠서울이 공동 주최하는 이번 대회에는 전국 초·중·고 여자축구팀이 참가해 조별리그와 토너먼트 방식으로 우승을 다툰다. 8강전부터 결승전까지 이어지는 주요 경기는 유튜브를 통해 실시간 중계된다.

여왕기 전국여자축구대회는 국내 여자축구 유망주 발굴과 선수 육성을 위한 대표 대회로 평가받고 있다. 참가 선수들은 연령별 최강팀 자리를 놓고 경쟁하며 기량을 검증받게 된다.
