[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 오는 13~14일 월아산 숲속의 진주 목재문화체험장에서 산타가 미리 온 이유를 주제로 겨울축제를 개최한다고 2일 밝혔다. 

 

축제는 한복과 크리스마스 문화를 결합해 한복 착용 방문객에게 ‘숲 화폐’와 웰컴 선물을 제공하는 등 참여형 프로그램을 강화했다.

 

행사장는 타로 운세, 보물찾기, 연·복주머니 만들기, 산타양말 럭키드로우 등 다양한 체험행사가 마련되며 숲속 나무 오락실, 전통놀이, 연 날리기 등 가족 단위 체험도 운영된다.

 

또 달음홀에서는 국악 캐럴 공연과 산타 서커스가 진행돼 남녀노소 누구나 즐길 수 있는 문화공연을 선보인다. 공연은 사전예약과 현장접수로 하루 200명까지 관람할 수 있다.

 

월아산 숲속의 진주는 연간 50만명 이상이 찾는 산림복지 명소로, 시는 이번 축제를 통해 연말 시민들에게 산림치유와 휴식을 제공하고 정원도시 진주의 기반을 더욱 강화할 계획이다.

 

진주시 관계자는 “축제는 겨울 숲의 치유적 가치와 다양한 문화·체험 프로그램을 결합한 행사다”며“축제를 통해 시민들이 한 해를 따뜻하게 마무리하시길 바란다”고 말했다.
