[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 14일 키자니아 부산에서 초등생 자녀를 둔 가족 39가족 90여 명을 대상으로 ‘드림하이! 키자니아 직업체험’을 진행했다. 

이번 행사는 다양한 직업을 직접 경험하며 흥미와 적성을 발견하고, 자녀의 긍정적인 미래 설계 및 진로 결정을 위한 가족 간 소통 증진을 위해 마련되었으며, 다문화가족 포함하여 통합 프로그램으로 운영되었다. 

방송인, 승무원, 소방관, 과학수사대, 의사, 탐험가, 요리사 등 50여 가지 중 관심 있는 분야를 선택해 직접 체험해 보고, 가족과 자신의 꿈(진로)과 꿈을 위한 노력에 관해 이야기를 나눠볼 수 있는 가족미션 활동으로 진행되어 참여자의 높은 호응을 얻었다. 

체험행사에 참여 한 가족은 “아이들이 다양한 직업을 경험해 볼 수 있어 좋았다”며, “아이가 진로를 탐색해 보고, 서로가 생각하는 직업에 대해 소통할 수 있는 좋은 기회였다”고 소감을 밝혔다. 

이수경 여성가족과장은 “이번 체험으로 자라나는 아이들이 자신의 꿈을 찾고 올바르게 성장할 수 있는 밑거름이 되었길 바란다”며, “앞으로도 가족이 성장하고 화합할 수 있는 다양한 프로그램을 지속적으로 지원할 계획이다”고 밝혔다.

Changwon Special City hosted "Dream High! KidZania Career Experience" at KidZania Busan on the 14th for approximately 90 families with elementary school children.
