[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 저출생, 고령화, 청년 인구 유출 등 급변하는 인구구조에 능동적으로 대응하고, 시민이 체감할 수 있는 실효성 있는 인구정책을 수립하기 위해 ‘창원시 인구정책 시민제안’을 시행한다.

 

이번 시민제안은 오는 11일부터 9월 19일까지 진행되며, 창원시에 거주하거나 관내 학교·직장 등 생활권을 두고 있는 시민 누구나 참여할 수 있다.

 

제안 분야는 ▲저출생(임신‧출산‧양육 및 다자녀 지원 등) ▲청년(일자리‧주거‧생활‧문화 지원) ▲중장년‧고령(재취업‧평생교육‧사회참여 확대 등) ▲기타(외국인‧다문화 통합, 귀농정착, 정주여건 개선 등)으로 시민 생활 전반을 포괄하는 폭넓은 영역을 대상으로 한다.

 

참여 방법은 창원시 인구정책 홈페이지 내 ‘창원특례시 인구정책 ON’의 ‘소통‧참여 게시판’을 통해 제안서를 작성하여 제출하면 된다.

 

시민이 제안한 정책은 창원시 인구정책위원회(분과위원회)의 검토를 거쳐 10월 중 우수 제안이 3건 이내로 선정되며, 11월 개최 예정인 시민참여 인구정책 토론회를 통해 시민이 직접 제안 내용을 발표하고 정책화 방향을 모색할 계획이다. 이후 관련 부서 검토를 거쳐 창원시 인구정책으로 반영될 예정이다.
