이에 창원시가 지난 4일부터 빅트리가 왜 설계변경 되었는지에 대한 사전 설명없이 시민단체들에게 빅트리를 사전 개방하면서 논란은 더 커지고 있다. 

 

빅트리가 외부에 노출되면서 언론과 시민들은 일제히 당초 원안과 다르다는 반응을 보이며 빅트리에 대한 의혹들을 하나둘 제기하기 시작했고, 지난 2024년 2월 29일 열린 제2회 경관위원회에서는 빅트리에 대한 자문위원회를 열었다.
