[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도가 산청군 집중호우 피해 현장에서 실종자 수색과 공공시설 복구, 이재민 지원에 전 행정력을 투입하며 피해 수습에 총력을 기울이고 있다.

 

경남도 소방본부는 지난 19일부터 시작된 집중호우 피해 현장에 비상 대응 체계를 가동하고, 실종자 수색과 피해 복구 활동을 지속하고 있다. 

 

21일 오후 3시 기준, 3일간 총 1,510명의 인력과 362대의 장비를 현장에 투입했다.

 

구조된 인원은 136명(구조 65명, 대피 71명), 인명피해는 사망 10명, 중상 2명, 실종 4명으로 집계됐다. 

 

실종자 수색은 굴삭기, 드론, 구조견 등을 활용해 정밀하게 이뤄지고 있으며, 수색 구역을 세분화한 책임제 방식으로 체계적인 수색이 진행 중이다.

 

21일 3일 차 수색에는 538명의 인력과 122대의 장비가 투입됐으며, 도내 15개 소방서에서 비상 소집된 소방력 114명이 긴급 투입돼 수색 역량을 보강했다. 도는 수색 종료 시까지 비상 대응 체계를 유지할 방침이다.

 

한편, 공공시설 피해 복구도 신속히 진행되고 있다. 도는 도로 85개소, 하천 22개소, 상하수도 17개소, 산사태 4개소 등 총 162개소의 공공시설에 대해 응급 복구 작업을 진행 중이며, 이를 위해 공무원·주민 등 794명의 인력과 중장비 1,147대를 투입했다.

 

이재민 보호를 위한 구호 활동도 병행되고 있다. 응급구호세트 526세트, 재난안전꾸러미 1,226개, 모포 1,312개 등 총 3,854점의 구호물품이 신속히 전달됐고, 민간단체와 협력한 급식 지원, 심리상담 부스 운영, 의료진 현장 파견 등 종합 지원 체계가 가동되고 있다.

경남도청 공무원들도 피해 복구를 위해 주말을 반납하고 현장에 투입됐다. 

 

20일부터 21일까지 이틀간 도청 소속 공무원 400여 명이 산청군, 의령군, 하동군, 합천군 등 피해가 심각한 지역에서 침수 주택 토사 제거, 가재도구 정리, 농가 지원 등 실질적인 복구 활동을 도왔다.

 

이번 지원은 박완수 도지사의 긴급 현장 점검 직후 “도의 모든 행정력을 총동원하라”는 지시에 따라 즉시 이뤄졌으며, 20일에는 산청·의령에 150여 명이, 21일에는 산청·하동·합천에 추가 인력이 투입됐다. 공무원 외에도 자원봉사자, 지역 주민들이 함께 복구에 나서며 피해 주민들에게 힘을 보탰다.

 

피해 주민들은 따뜻한 도움의 손길에 감사를 전했다. 산청군 신등면 구평마을의 홍범희 이장은 “내 일처럼 성심껏 도와줘서 큰 힘이 됐다”고 말했으며, 하동군 옥종면 가덕마을의 정예진 새마을부녀회장도 “공무원들과 자원봉사자들의 도움이 큰 위로가 됐다”고 밝혔다.
