[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 제33회 여왕기 전국여자축구대회가 합천에서 18일부터 27일까지 개최됐다.

 

대한축구협회와 스포츠서울이 공동 주최하고, 한국여자축구연맹과 합천군축구협회가 공동으로 개최한 이번 대회에서 전국 초․중․고․대학 여자축구팀 47개팀 1,600여 명이 참가해 열띤 승부를 펼쳤다.

 

군민체육공원 5구장에서 열린 26일 초등부 결승전에서는 전남광양중앙초가 경북상대초를 1:0으로 제압하고 우승을 차지했다.

 

27일 군민체육공원 2구장에서 열린 중․고등부 결승전에서는 중등부에서 울산현대청운중이 경북포항항도중을 3:0으로, 고등부에서 경북포항여전고가 전남광양여고를 승부차기로 6:5로 최종 우승을 차지했다. 

 

군민체육공원 4구장에서 펼쳐진 27일 대학부 순위결정전에서 세종고려대가 1위를 차지했다.

 

이번 대회는 더위를 피해 오후부터 야간경기로 진행해 경기력 저하를 막고 아울러 방문객들의 만족도를 향상시켰으며, 예선전을 포함한 전 경기는 유튜브로 생중계했다. 

 

또한, 합천군청 소속 실․과와 참가팀 간 자매결연팀을 맺어 격려방문을 실시하고 합천축협과 성지아스콘에서는 참가팀에게 소고기 육포와 수박을 전달함으로써 큰 호응을 얻기도 했다.

 

김윤철 합천군수는 “대회 기간에 큰 사고 없이 대회를 진행해 준 관계자분들과 지역주민들게 감사의 말씀을 드린다”며, “앞으로도 한국 여자축구가 발전하는데 합천군이 더욱 노력하겠다”고 전했다.
