창원특례시는 20일 지속가능한 어업자원 조성과 어촌 경제 활성화를 위해 문치가자미 어린고기 20만 9000마리를 방류했다.

 

이번 방류는 수산자원 회복과 어업 생산성 향상을 목적으로 추진된 사업으로, 방류 해역의 어촌계 및 공동체가 참여해 사업비 2억 원을 들여 문치가자미 어린고기 약 20만 9천 마리를 해상에 방류했다. 방류는 마산합포구 구산면 원전·옥계, 진전면 이창·시락, 진해구 잠도 해역에서 차도선을 동원해 실시됐다.

 

시는 방류된 어린고기가 불법으로 포획되지 않도록 어업지도선을 상시 배치하여 단속할 계획이며, 지역 어업인들에게도 어린고기 보호에 적극 협조해 줄 것을 요청할 예정이다.
