[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 민선 8기 3년차 이승화 군정은 군민에게 실질적인 편의를 제공하기 위해 도내 최초로 농어촌버스를 전면 무료화하는 등 현장 중심 행정에 노력을 기울였다.

 

특히 이런 노력은 3년 차에 도내 유일 공공기관 종합청렴도 1등급, 재정분석 종합평가 가(최고)등급, 주요업무 합동평가 도내 1위(정량부문) 등 괄목한 성과로 나타났다.

 

산청군은 20일 군청 대회의실에서 이승화 군수 주재로 ‘민선 8기 3주년 성과보고회’를 열고 지난 3년간의 성과를 공유하고 향후 주요 추진 과제와 사업을 점검했다.

 

또 3년 차에 대한 심도 있는 논의를 통해 ‘모두가 행복한 산청 실현’ 의지를 다졌다.

 

민선 8기 이승화 군정은 공약사업 57개 중 24개를 완료하고 30개는 사업계획에 따라 차질 없이 진행하고 있으며 3개 사업은 장기계획이 필요한 실정이다.

 

12개 주요시책사업은 7개는 완료하고 5개는 정상적으로 추진하고 있다.

 

지난 3년간 이승화 군정은 2023산청엑스포 성공개최, 경남권 지리산케이블카 노선 산청군 단일노선으로 확정, 국내 여름휴가 여행만족도 조사 1위(2023년)와 2위(2024년) 등 2년 연속 최상위권, 지역관광 성장 지자체 도내 유일 선정 등 굵직한 성과를 일궈냈다.

 

5대 군정 방침인 △생동하는 지역경제 △풍요로운 농업농촌 △행복나눔 희망복지 △찾고싶은 문화관광 △신뢰받는 공감행정 등 분야별 성과를 살펴본다.

 

◇생동하는 지역경제 분야

 

산청군은 지역 경제에 활력을 불어넣기 위해 기업 유치에 총력을 기울였다.

 

모운식품(주) 등 5개 기업 총 275억원의 투자를 이끌고 0%였던 한방항노화일반산업단지의 분양률을 30%로 올렸다.

 

지역연고산업 육성사업, 한방항노화기업 맞춤 지원을 통해서는 87개 기업, 163개 분야에서 55억원 이상의 매출과 60여 명의 일자리를 만들었다.

 

이와 함께 △중소기업 매출채권보험료 지원(도내 군 단위 최초) △인구감소지역 기업지원 특례보증 △근로자 기숙사 건립 △일자리창출 지원사업 등을 통해 기업 하기 좋은 환경을 조성했다.

◇풍요로운 농업농촌 분야

 

우수 농특산물의 경쟁력 강화에 공을 들여 온 이승화 군정은 지난 2022년 938만 달러, 지난해 1171만 달러 등 3년 연속 수출 최대 실적을 달성하며 결실을 거뒀다.

 

직영 운영 중인 산엔청쇼핑몰은 지난해 70억 원의 매출로 도내 1위를 유지하며 농가 소득 증대에 기여했다.

 

뿐만 아니라 농업보조금 확대, 인력중개센터 운영, 임대 농기계 배송 서비스 등을 통해 농가 경영 부담을 줄였고 산청 곶감과 딸기, 고종시가 대한민국 대표 브랜드 및 과일에 선정되기도 했다.

 

지난 2023년부터 기후변화 대응을 위해 추진한 아열대 신소득 작물 육성지원 사업은 애플망고 첫 수확이라는 성과를 맛보며 농업 생산성 향상을 위한 신기술 보급에 박차를 가하고 있다.

 

◇행복나눔 희망복지 분야

 

보건복지 분야에서는 65세 이상 어르신 대상포진 무료접종, 노인 무릎 인공관절 수술비 확대, 국가보훈대상자 지원금 월 18만원 인상, 사회복지사 처우개선 등 체감형 정책 실현에 노력 중이다.

 

복지사각지대 해소를 위해 다문화가족 자녀 헤어컷비용 지원, 조손가족 손자녀 특기활동비 지원, 산엔청복지관 분관 개관 등 맞춤형 지원체계를 구축한다.

 

오는 7월부터는 생활민원처리반 운영으로 어르신 및 취약계층의 생활 불편 사항을 신속히 해소하고 아이들이 마음껏 뛰어 놀 수 있는 공공 실내놀이터 2곳도 운영할 계획이다.

 

◇찾고싶은 문화관광 분야

 

2013년 이후 10년 만에 개최한 2023산청엑스포는 성공엑스포란 찬사를 받으며 대통령 직속 지방시대위원회의 지역균형발전사업 우수사례 지방시대위원장 특별상을 수상했다.

 

아울러 산청군이 웰니스 관광도시로 자리매김하고 동의보감촌이 문체부 로컬 100선, 2025~2026 한국관광 100선에 선정되는 성과도 냈다.

올해부터는 2025 산청방문의 해를 맞아 숙박 세일 페스타, 1박해 등 다양한 관광 마케팅과 사시사철 관광객이 찾는 황매산 조성을 위한 황매산 정원 조성사업을 추진한다.

 

◇신뢰받는 공감행정 분야

 

산청군은 지난 5월부터 농어촌버스 전면 무료화를 시행하고 브라보 한방택시 82개 마을 확대, 산청읍~시천면 군내버스 노선 신설 등 이동권 개선으로 군민이 체감할 수 있는 행정에 힘을 쏟고 있다.

 

또 신안면사무소 복합개발사업, 청년 베이스캠프, 공공임대주택, 7년 연속 생활여건 공모사업 선정, 상하수도 기반 확충을 통해 주거 환경 개선 등 생활 밀착형 정책을 확대해 나가고 있다.

 

여기에 최근 큰 인기를 끌며 군민들의 수요가 늘고 있는 파크골프 시설 확충을 위해 생초면 36홀 공공파크골프장을 건립할 계획이다.
