[브레이크뉴스=박찬호 기자] 한국남동발전(사장 강기윤)은 19일 ‘호국보훈의 달’을 맞아 저소득 국가유공자와 유가족의 희생과 헌신에 보답하기 위해 경남사회복지공동모금회에 생계비 후원금을 기탁했다.  

이번 기탁식에는 강기윤 한국남동발전 사장, 강기철 경남사회복지공동모금회장, 박형인 경남보훈단체협의회장과 경남보훈단체 관계자 및 국가유공자 등 30여 명이 참석했다.  

한국남동발전은 6월 호국 보훈의 달을 맞이해 생계가 곤란해 어려움을 겪고 있는 경남지역 거주 국가유공자 및 유가족의 생활 안정을 지원하기 위해 마련됐다. 이에 남동발전은 국가유공자 및 유가족 30세대에게 생계비를 지원하고, 조국을 위해 헌신하신 분들에 대한 감사와 위로의 뜻을 전했다. 

강기윤 한국남동발전 사장은 “국가유공자의 희생과 헌신에 보답하기 위해 준비한 정성이 국가유공자 가족분들께 조금이나마 위로와 힘이 되기를 진심으로 소망한다”면서 “앞으로도 한국남동발전은 국가유공자와 보훈 가족 여러분들의 복지 증진을 위한 다양한 지원사업을 펼치겠다”고 말했다.
