3번기로 진행되는 이번 결승전은 한국 여자바둑 정상급 기사 김은지 9단과 떠오르는 신예 정준우 3단이 맞붙었다. 

 

명예심판을 맡은 김윤철 군수의 대국개시 선언을 시작으로 치열한 접전 끝에 김은지 9단이 154수 만에 백 불계승으로 첫 승을 거두며 우승을 향한 유리한 출발을 알렸다.

 

현 국내 여자랭킹 2위이자 전 대회 준우승자인 김은지 9단은 후원사 시드로 본선에 직행하여, 윤서원·이민석 초단을 차례로 꺾고 2년 연속 결승에 진출하여 많은 이들의 주목을 받았다.
