▲ 합천군, 삼가 고분군의 보존과 활용 주제로 학술대회 개최

[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군은 18일 합천박물관 대강당에서 국가사적 ‘합천 삼가 고분군의 보존과 활용’이라는 주제로 학술대회를 개최했다.

 

이번 학술대회는 합천군이 주최하고 경남연구원에서 주관했으며, 국가 사적 지정 이후 삼가 고분군의 체계적인 보존 방안 및 방법을 찾는 한편 효과적인 활용방안을 마련함으로써 궁극적으로는 역사교육의 공간 및 문화관광자원으로 이용하고자 마련됐다.

 

삼가 고분군은 경남 내륙 최대 규모의 고분군으로 세계유산 옥전 고분군과 더불어 합천을 대표하는 가야 고분군이다. 

 

삼가 고분군은 남강을 통한 문화 교류를 배경으로 성장한 소가야 세력의 고분군으로 옥전 고분군과 다른 유물, 독자적인 축조 기술 등을 통해 합천지역에 또 다른 가야왕국이 존재했다는 것을 증명하는 유적이다. 

 

최근 정밀지표조사를 통해 약 500여기 이상의 봉분을 다시 확인할 수 있었다.

 

이날 학술대회에서는 삼가 고분군의 특징과 가치(안기동, 경남연구원)를 시작으로 삼가 고분군 보존정비 기본방안(정연승, 경남건축문화재연구원), 삼가 고분군의 가치화 활용방안(김수환, 경상남도문화유산위원회), 가야의 역사와 한우의 콜라보레이션을 통한 관광활성화 방안(박득희, 경남연구원) 등 4건의 주제발표가 진행됐다.

 

또한, 발표에 이어 홍보식(공주대, 국가유산청 문화유산위원) 교수를 좌장으로 한 종합 토론을 통해 삼가 고분군의 의미를 되새기는 한편 전문가들 외에 청중들의 의견도 경청하여 삼가 고분군의 미래를 준비하는 의미 있는 시간을 가졌다.

 

김윤철 합천군수는 환영사를 통해 “국가사적 삼가 고분군의 미래를 위한 학술대회를 개최하게 된 것을 뜻깊게 생각하며 주제발표와 토론을 통해 삼가 고분군의 의미를 재조명하는데 크게 이바지할 수 있기를 바란다”며 “이번 학술대회를 통해 삼가 고분군의 가치를 새롭게 인식하고, 군민들의 자긍심을 높이는 계기가 되길 기대한다”고 말했다.

On the 18th, Hapcheon-gun held an academic conference on the theme of ‘Preservation and Utilization of Samga Tomb Cluster in Hapcheon’, a national historic site, at the main auditorium of Hapcheon Museum.

 

This academic conference was hosted by Hapcheon-gun and organized by Gyeongnam Research Institute. It was prepared to find systematic preservation plans and methods for Samga Tomb Cluster after its designation as a national historic site, while also devising effective utilization plans, ultimately using it as a space for historical education and cultural tourism resource.

 

Samga Tomb Cluster is the largest tomb cluster in Gyeongnam and is a Gaya tomb cluster representing Hapcheon along with Okjeon Tomb Cluster, a World Heritage Site.

 

Samga Tomb Cluster is a tomb cluster of Sogaya forces that grew against the backdrop of cultural exchange through Namgang River. It is a relic that proves the existence of another Gaya kingdom in the Hapcheon region through artifacts and independent construction techniques that are different from Okjeon Tomb Cluster.
