[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도가 중소벤처기업부의 ‘2025년 지역중소기업 육성 우수 지자체’ 전국 1위로 선정됐다고 19일 밝혔다.

 

중소기업 지원 우수기관 포상은 매년 시도에서 수립하는 지역중소기업 육성 및 혁신촉진 계획 등을 중소기업정책협의회(위원장 중소벤처기업부 장관)가 심의해, 지역 특성과 여건에 맞는 우수한 정책을 펼친 지자체를 선정해 시상한다.

 

올해 도는 글로벌강소기업 육성 등 기업 성장 사다리 지원사업과 중소기업 재해예방 안전디자인 인프라 구축 등 ESG 경영 지원사업, 경남디자인 주도 제조혁신 등 기술혁신 지원사업 등 156개 사업에 약 3,000억 원의 다양한 정책 지원을 펼치며 기업 성장과 경영 안전망 조성에 노력하고 있다.

 

특히, 비수도권 지자체 최초로 시행한 경남형 납품대금 연동제 우수기업 지원사업으로 기업 동반성장에 이바지하고, 대미 수출기업 긴급자금 100억 원, 중소기업 수출보험료, 수출기업 수출물류비 지원 등 미국 신정부 관세 대응 정책을 통해 도내 수출 중소기업의 경영 안정과 강소기업 성장에 기여한 공로를 인정받았다.

 

도는 도내 중소기업의 자금난 해소와 금융 부담 완화를 위해 1조 1,000억 원의 중소기업 육성자금을 운용하고 있으며, 6월 기준으로 914개 기업에 5,554억 원을 지원했다.

 

올해는 기업 현장의 의견을 반영해 지원 대상의 약 50%에 해당하는 영세기업의 이차보전율을 하반기부터 0.1% 추가 지원한다. 

경남 특화산업인 조선, 항공우주, 원자력, 방위산업 지원에 전년 대비 400억 원이 증액된 2,000억 원을 배정하고, 100억 원의 여성기업 육성 특별자금을 신설하는 등 수혜기업을 확대했다.

 

미국 트럼프 정부 관세 인상에 대응해 철강, 자동차 등 수출기업 위기를 타개하고자 대미 수출기업 긴급자금 100억 원을 편성해 10개 사에 50억 원을 지원하고 있다. 

 

중소기업 수출보험료 지원사업 예산도 4억 5천만 원을 증액해, 수출 소규모 기업 무역단체보험 일괄가입 범위를 기존 10만 불에서 30만 불 미만까지로 확대했으며, 추경에 수출물류비 지원사업을 2억 원 규모로 신설해 수출 중소기업 물류비를 지원하고 있다.

 

도는 지난해 1월부터 ‘경남기업119’ 온라인 플랫폼을 운영해 기업 민원 원스톱 지원 체계를 정착시키고, 국가‧지자체의 기업지원 사업 정보를 통합 안내하고 있다. 

 

직접 찾아가는 ‘기업애로 해소 현장간담회’를 통해 현장 중심의 기업 애로 해소에도 적극적으로 나서고 있다.

 

올해 4월에는 도민과 기업 간 동반성장을 위해 지역 대기업 14개 사와 도, 기업 소재 지자체가 참여하는 경남경제라운드테이블을 구성했다. 

 

동반성장 협약을 체결해 침체한 지역 건설 중소기업 애로사항을 건의하고, 협력사업을 추진하고 있다. 

 

경기도의 납품대금 연동제 우수기업 지원사업을 비수도권에서는 처음으로 시행해 대중소 기업 간 상생 기반을 마련했다.
