[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 19일 물류기업 ㈜엘엑스판토스신항에코물류센터가 진해구 서컨배후단지(1단계)에서 첨단 물류센터 착공식을 개최했다고 밝혔다.

 

이날 행사에는 장금용 창원특례시장 권한대행, 이종욱 국회의원, 김명주 경상남도 경제부지사, 박성호 부산진해경제자유구역청장, 이용호 ㈜엘엑스판토스 대표이사, 어재혁 ㈜엘엑스판토스신항에코물류센터 대표 등 100여 명이 참석했다.

 

㈜엘엑스판토스신항에코물류센터는 ㈜엘엑스판토스부산신항물류센터와 LG전자㈜가 협력해 설립한 합작 법인으로, 지난해 4월 22일 창원시, 경상남도, 부산진해경제자유구역청과 투자금액 1,000억원, 신규고용 188명의 투자협약을 체결한 바 있다. 

 

물류센터는 12만 5,720㎡의 부지에 연면적 7만 1,962㎡의 규모로 친환경 자재, 탄소저감 식재 등을 사용한 친환경 첨단 물류센터로 건립되며, 2026년 12월 준공 예정이다.
