강의 후 참석자들은 산불 피해를 입었던 산청군 시천면 상지마을을 직접 찾아 피해 복구 상황을 확인하고 산사태 위험 지역을 점검하는 시간을 가졌다.

 

김성희 경남경찰청장은 "지난주부터 장마철에 접어들면서 취약 지역에 산사태 등 2차 피해가 발생할 우려가 있다"며, 과거 피해 지역의 원인을 철저히 분석하여 예방 순찰 및 교통 관리 등을 통해 피해 예방에 힘쓰겠다고 강조했다.
