장 권한대행은 기재부 재정관리관, 사회예산심의관, 경제예산심의관, 복지안전예산심의관과 면담하고, 연구개발예산과, 문화예산과, 안전예산과 등을 방문해 내년도 주요 국비 사업을 설명하고, 창원시 주요 현안사업에 대한 국비 반영이 절실함을 전했다.

이날 건의한 주요 사업으로는 ▲창원 AI 자율제조 전담지원센터 구축 ▲AI‧멀티모달 기반 메카트로닉스 의료기기 실증센터 구축 ▲드론 제조 국산화 특화단지 조성 ▲산단 수출기업 디지털제품여권(DPP) 지원체계 구축 ▲(남부권 광역관광개발) 한류테마 관광정원 조성 ▲안골지구 자연재해 위험개선지구 정비사업 ▲용원지구 급경사지 붕괴위험지역 정비사업 등 창원시 미래를 이끌어줄 핵심사업과 시민 안전과 직결된 주요 현안이다.

장금용 권한대행은 “이번 기재부 방문이 우리 시 미래 핵심사업과 현안사업의 국비 지원에 대한 절실함이 잘 전달되었기를 바란다”며, “올해 말 정부 예산안이 확정되는 순간까지 국비가 최대한 확보될 수 있도록 모든 행정력을 총동원하겠다”고 밝혔다.
