▲ 제33회 여왕기 전국여자축구대회 합천서 개최

[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 제33회 여왕기 전국여자축구대회가 18일부터 27일까지 10일간 합천군 군민체육공원 인조구장에서 열린다.

대한축구협회, 스포츠서울이 공동으로 주최하고, 한국여자축구연맹, 합천군축구협회가 공동 주관하는 이번 대회에는 전국 여자 축구팀 47개팀, 1,600여명이 참가해 여자축구의 최강자를 가릴 예정이다.

경기방식는 초등부, 중등부, 고등부, 대학부로 나눠 진행되며 초․중․고등부는 각 조별 예선리그에서 1, 2위를 한 팀이 토너먼트에 진출하고 결승전까지 단판으로 진행되며, 대학부는 풀리그로 진행하여 대회 마지막 날에 순위 결정전이 진행된다.

경기는 무더위를 피해 늦은 오후부터 야간 경기로 진행되며, 예선전을 포함한 전 경기는 유튜브로 생중계된다. 

또한, 지난 대회에 이어 이번 대회에서도 경기장 내 페트병 사용을 자제하고 텀블러 등 다회용기를 이용하는 ‘경기장 플라스틱 제로 캠페인’도 진행한다.

김윤철 합천군수는 “여자 축구의 미래를 이끌어 갈 젊은 선수들이 열정을 펼칠 무대를 합천군에 마련할 수 있게 되어 뜻깊게 생각한다”며, “이번 대회에 참가하는 모든 팀이 최고의 기량을 펼칠 수 있도록 행정적 준비와 지원을 아끼지 않겠다”고 전했다.
