[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시는 8일, 경남도청광장 일원에서 열린 「투르 드 경남 2025」 창원구간 대회가 성황리에 종료되었다고 밝혔다.

이번 행사는 경상남도가 주최하고 경상남도체육회와 대한(경남)자전거연맹이 주관하는 국제사이클연맹(UCI)이 공인한 아시아투어 국제도로사이클대회로, 16개국 22개팀 220여 명의 선수단이 참가했다.

창원구간은 도청사거리~창원광장 일원을 15회 순환(총 44.5km)하는 크리테리움 방식으로 진행되었으며, 대회 당일 개회식과 함께 시민참여 프로그램, 홍보부스 운영 등 부대행사도 함께 열렸다.

경기 결과 창원구간 대회에서 개인 우승은 호주 출신 월시 리암 선수가, 구간 성적을 종합한 개인종합 우승은 호주 출신 호킨스 딜런 선수가 차지했다.
