[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원시설공단이 파크골프 초보자를 대상으로 건전한 파크골프문화 확산과 안전사고 예방을 위한 무료 기초교육을 실시해 큰 호응을 얻고 있다.

 

공단은 지난해 10월부터 2개월마다 전문자격증을 보유한 전문강사가 의창구 대산농협 대회의실과 대산파크골프장에서 이론과 실기교육을 각각 진행하고 있다.

 

교육은 매월 셋째 주 화요일과 수요일 이틀에 걸쳐 진행되는데, 화요일은 파크골프의 기본 개념과 규칙, 장비 사용법 등 이론교육과 심폐소생술 등 안전교육을 실시한다.

 

수요일은 실제 그라운드에서 기본자세와 스윙 연습, 코스별 전략 및 실전 경기체험 등 실기교육을 진행하는데 매 교육 시 60여명 이상의 초보자들이 몰려 성황을 이루고 있다.

 

교육에 참가한 한 수강생은 “파크골프 입문자로서 기본적인 이론교육은 물론 그라운드에서 실제 경기체험을 할 수 있어 매우 유익한 시간이었다”고 말했다.

 

파크골프장 이용 고객이면 누구나 교육 신청이 가능하며, 공단홈페이지 또는 현장에서 선착순 접수를 받고 있으며 수강료는 무료다.  

 

이경균 이사장 직무대행은 “파크골프 초보자들이 기본적인 이해와 실습을 통해 기술을 습득하고 안전사고 예방 및 건전한 생활체육문화가 정착되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
