▲ 18개 시군 예산부서장이 참석한 ‘2025년 예산부서장 회의’ 개최

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도는 23일 경남연구원 가야대회의실에서 18개 시군 예산부서장이 참석한 ‘2025년 예산부서장 회의’를 개최하며, 내수 경기 진작과 민생경제 활력 회복에 발 벗고 나섰다.

 

이번 회의는 민생경제 회복과 도민행복시대 구현을 위한 국비 재원 확보 방안 논의하고, 재정 운영의 역할을 제고하기 위해 마련됐다.

 

이날 회의에서 경남도는 민생경제 안정을 위해 신속집행 대상액의 62.3%(도 본청 70.3%, 시군 55.0%)에 해당하는 13조 원 규모의 예산을 상반기 내 집행하기로 했다. 이는 신속집행 추진 이후 상반기 목표로는 최대 규모다.

 

이를 위해 경남도는 기획조정실장을 단장으로 하는 ‘신속집행추진단’을 운영하며, 집행 실적을 정기적으로 점검할 예정이다. 특히 집행 부진 시군에 대해서는 현장 컨설팅을 통해 애로사항을 해결하고, 신속한 예산 집행을 지원할 방침이다.

 

특히 설 연휴 전에 민간보조금과 소상공인 지원 등 민생 관련 사업을 최대한 신속히 집행해 도민들의 경제적 부담을 덜고 지역사회에 활력을 불어넣을 수 있도록 시군과 함께 총력을 다할 예정이다.

 

경남도는 도민행복시대를 실현하기 위한 내년도 국비 확보 목표액을 10조 원으로 설정했다. 2월 중순 국비 신규사업 발굴 보고회를 시작으로 본격적인 국비 확보 활동에 나설 예정이며, 시군에도 ‘원팀’으로서의 적극적인 협력을 요청했다.

아울러 주민참여예산위원회 위원 공모에 여성, 사회적약자, 청년 등 다양한 계층이 참여할 수 있도록 적극적인 홍보를 요청하고, 지속 가능한 경남 발전을 위해 수익성과 공익성을 모두 고려한 지역활성화 투자펀드 사업 발굴을 요청했다.
