▲ 창원시, 내년부터 분뇨 수집·운반 수수료 인상

[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원시는 2025년 1월 1일부터 분뇨 수집·운반 수수료를 인상한다고 밝혔다.

2014년 이후 시민들의 물가 부담 완화를 위해 수수료 인상을 자제해왔으나, 최근 지속된 물가 상승과 하수관거 정비사업으로 인해 분뇨 수거량이 감소하면서 수집·운반업체들이 경영난을 겪고 있는 상황이다.

이에 시는 이 같은 현실 여건을 고려해 원가 산정 용역 결과를 바탕으로 수수료를 인상하기로 결정했다. 

기본요금(1,000리터 이하)은 기존 25,400원에서 2만 9920원으로, 초과요금(100리터마다)은 1,600원에서 1,880원으로 인상된다.

이번 인상으로 인해 일반 가정의 평균 분뇨 처리량 기준으로 연간 약 4,520원에서 7,320원의 추가 비용이 발생할 것으로 예상된다.
