▲ 거창군, 지역사회보장계획 시행결과 평가 ‘우수 기관’ 선정

[브레이크뉴스=주윤한 기자] 거창군은 보건복지부가 주관하는 2024년 지역복지사업 평가 중 ‘2023년 지역사회보장계획 시행결과 평가’에서 ‘우수 기관’으로 선정됐다.

보건복지부는 매년 복지 수준 향상과 복지행정 우수사례를 전파하기 위해, 전국 지자체를 대상으로 지역복지사업 평가를 시행하고 있다.

전국 229개 지방자치단체를 대상으로 진행된 이번 평가는 1차 평가에서 29개 시군구(군 단위 5개 지자체)를 선정했으며, PPT 발표 및 질의응답 등의 과정을 거쳐 거창군이 최종 우수 기관으로 선정됐다.

거창군은 ‘군민 맞춤형 도시, 더 큰 거창 도약’을 지역사회보장계획 목표로 정하고, 빈틈없는 돌봄체계 구축, 안전하고 건강한 수요자 맞춤형 도시 조성 등 8개 추진전략을 수립해 38개 세부사업을 추진해 왔다.

군은 사업계획 내용의 충실성, 과정의 적절성, 결과의 우수성, 지역주민의 참여도, 사업관리와 역량강화 등 5개 분야에 대해 성과를 인정받았다. 특히 청년 수당, 청소년 수당, 공립 치매전담형 노인요양시설 신축 및 운영 등 지역 특성에 맞는 ‘거창형 사회복지 사업’을 추진해 큰 호평을 받았다.
