[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 권통일 전 부총리 겸 교육부장관 정책보좌관이 지난 11일 한국산업인력공단 상임감사에 취임했다. 임기는 2026년 11월 10일까지로 연임 가능하다.

권 감사는 경남 김해 출신으로 김해고를 졸업하고 동아대에서 정치외교학을 전공했으며 성균관대 일반대학원 정치외교학 박사과정을 수료한 후 국회의원 보좌관, 대통령직인수위 자문위원, 부총리 겸 교육부장관 정책보좌관, 동아대 국제전문대학원 겸임교수 등을 역임했다.

권통일 상임감사는 “공공가치를 최우선에 두고, 국민에게 신뢰받을 수 있는 투명한 체계를 갖추는 것이 중요하다”라며 “국민의 눈높이에 맞는 공직 문화를 구축하고, 공공기관으로서의 책무를 다하여 공단이 글로벌 인적자원개발 파트너로 자리매김할 수 있도록 최선을 다하겠다”고 포부를 밝혔다.

한편 한국산업인력공단은 지난 25일 ‘제2회 대한민국 내부통제경영’시상식의 ‘모니터링 부문’에서 최우수상인 국회 환경노동위원장상을 수상했다.
