[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 박완수 경남도지사는 30일 오후 KBS 창원홀에서 개최된 ‘경남간호사회 창립 제80주년 기념식’에 참석해 도민의 생명과 건강을 돌보기 위해 묵묵히 자리를 지키며 노력하고 있는 간호사들의 노고를 치하하고 격려했다. 

이날 행사는 박완수 도지사, 김정호 국회의원을 비롯해 탁영란 대한간호협회 회장 등 1,200여 명이 참석한 가운데 유공자 표창 수여, 80주년 기념 영상, 비전 선포식, 축하공연 순으로 진행됐다.

(사)대한간호협회 경상남도간호사회는 1945년 설립해 80년 동안 15개 지회 15,300여 명의 회원이 참여하는 협회로 성장했으며, 도내 간호사들의 화합과 권익 보호에 중추적 역할을 수행하고 있다.

박완수 도지사는 축사를 통해 “코로나19 위기 및 어려운 의료 환경 속에서도 묵묵히 현장을 지켜주신 간호사 여러분의 헌신 덕분에 도민의 생명과 건강을 지킬 수 있었다”며 “특히 이번 전국체육대회에서도 경기 현장마다 선수들의 건강을 위해 봉사해 주셔서 감사의 말씀을 드리며, 경남간호사회의 무궁한 발전을 기원한다”고 말했다.
