[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 29일 이반성면 지화마을에서 민·관 합동으로 찾아가는 농기계 현장순회 수리 및 안전교육을 실시했다고 밝혔다.

시는 매년 3월부터 12월까지 234개 마을을 대상으로 직접 찾아가는 농기계 무상 수리를 실시하며, 기술교육과 안전교육, 정비교육 등을 병행해 농민에게 실질적인 도움을 주고 있다.

이날 행사는 경남도농업기술원의 농기계 무상수리 및 기술교육, 한국교통안전공단의 교통안전교육, 진주경찰서의 농기계 오토바이 자전거 등에 야간 반사지 부착 등의 교육을 진행했다.

특히 한국교통안전공단은 농촌 고령자들을 대상으로 교통사고 예방교육을 실시해 사고에 대한 경각심을 고취시켰으며, 야광지팡이, 야광우산, 반사지 등의 안전 홍보물도 배부했다.

진주시 관계자는 “매년 실시하는 민·관 합동 농기계 현장 순회 수리 및 안전교육을 통해 농기계 사고 및 농업인들의 안전사고 예방에 많은 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
