이번 행사는 지역 내에서 봉사활동을 활발하게 이어가고 있는 신월 의용소방대가 함께 했으며 학생들은 자발적으로 가정에서 가져온 식품, 생필품 등을 기부하며 나눔에 대한 기쁨과 이웃사랑을 몸소 실천할 수 있는 장이 되었다.

김광섭 교장은 “학생들이 자발적으로 나눔에 참여하고, 지역 단체가 함께 함으로써 마을 교육 공동체의 가치가 빛날 수 있는 시간이 되었다. 앞으로도 학생들이 나눔의 의미를 배우고, 지역사회와 함께하는 기회를 지속적으로 마련하겠다”고 말했다.

행사에 참여한 신월 의용소방대장은 “학생들과 함께 의미 있는 나눔 활동에 동참할 수 있어 보람을 느끼며 꼭 필요한 이웃들에게 잘 전달하겠다”고 말했다.
