[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경상남도는 이번 가을밤 유네스코 세계유산의 탁월한 보편적 가치와 역사·문화·예술적 의미를 널리 알리고자 세계유산으로 등재된 ‘양산 통도사’와 ‘함양 남계서원’에서 미디어아트를 활용하여 새로운 방식의 세계유산 향유 기회를 제공한다고 밝혔다.

문화재청 공모사업인 ‘2022년 세계유산 미디어아트 사업’은 최신 미디어 디지털 기술을 세계유산에 접목하여 세계유산의 보편적 가치를 알리는 새로운 활용 콘텐츠로 경남은 ‘양산 통도사의 화엄세계로의 초대’와 ‘함양 남계서원의 빛의 노래, 서원을 밝히다!’가 선정됐다.

양산 통도사 미디어아트는 10월 3일까지 운영되고 메인쇼는 성보박물관 앞에서 오후 7시 30분 ~ 8시 30분 사이 매일 2~3회 상연되며, 삼성반월교, 구룡지, 금강계단 등 통도사의 대표적인 문화재를 창건설화와 엮어 미디어아트로 보여준다.

통도사 미디어아트는 무풍한송로를 따라 성보박물관으로 가는 길에, 만다라 레이어스크린, 프로젝션 맵핑 등 다양한 빛 오브제와 더불어 통도사 좌측으로 흐르는 개울의 물소리와 야밤의 숲속 풀벌레 소리, 밤안개가 더욱 어우러져 산사만의 고풍스럽고 운치 있는 분위기가 특색이다.

그리고 함양 남계서원 미디어아트는 오는 9월 30일부터 10월 30일까지 남계서원 풍영루와 서원광장을 중심으로 서원과 선비정신 이야기를 담은 ‘빛의 노래, 서원을 밝히다’라는 주제로 웅장하고 몰입감 높은 미디어아트를 선보일 예정이다.

남계서원 미디어아트는 메인쇼뿐만 아니라 서브컨텐츠로 서원내부를 활용한 미디어 연출, 서원 교육 가치 전달을 위한 실감형 컨텐츠를 마련하고 한복입고 서원나들이, 청사초롱 달빛야행 등 다양한 연계프로그램도 구성했다.
