[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경상남도는 경기침체 등으로 어려움을 겪는 소상공인을 위해 임대료를 인하한 건축물 소유자의 건축물분 재산세 감면을 1년 연장한다고 밝혔다.

감면 대상은 재산세 과세기준일 현재 ‘소상공인기본법’에 따른 소상공인에게 2023년 임대료를 직전 임대료보다 월평균 5%를 초과해 3개월 이상 인하한 경우로 최대 75%까지 재산세 감면이 가능하다.

재산세 감면 신청은 감면신청서 임대차계약서 사본 임대료 인하를 확인할 수 있는 변경계약서 인하 전후 통장 사본 세금계산서 등 구비서류를 지참해 올해 12월 31일까지 해당 건물 소재 시군구 세무부서로 신청하면 된다.

한편, 지난해에는 임대인 1,267명이 6억 900만원 감면 혜택을 받았으며 65억원의 임대료를 인하하는 효과가 나타났다.

경남도 관계자는 “코로나19 이후에도 고금리, 고물가 등으로 경제적 어려움을 겪고 있는 소상공인의 임대료 부담에 조금이나마 도움이 되기를 바란다”고 말했다.
