[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 홍남표 창원특례시장은 5일 ‘제101회 어린이날’을 맞아 창원체육관에 참석한 어린이들과 학부모 등에게 축하 인사를 전했고, 창원시 전역에서는 50,000여명의 어린이와 가족이 참여한 가운데 「창원어린이 큰잔치」를 4년 만에 열었다고 밝혔다. 

이번 행사는 당초 야외에서 어린이들이 좋아할 만한 풍성한 프로그램으로 진행될 예정이었으나 비가 많이 올 것이라는 일기예보에 따라 창원체육관으로 급히 옮겨 진행하면서 어린이들이 코로나 시국 이후 모처럼 찾아온 어린이날 야외행사를 진행하지 못한 아쉬움을 드러냈다.

이번 행사는 창원특례시가 주최하고 ㈜MBC경남이 주관했으며, 태권도 시범단의 공연을 시작으로 아동권리헌장 낭독, 모범 어린이아동복지 유공자 표창 수여 등 기념식과 신기한 마술 공연, 체험 등 다채로운 프로그램이 펼쳐졌다.

창원시는 △어린이도 쉽게 배우고 즐기는 스내그 골프 △코딩 놀이와 인공지능 로봇을 합한 로보 마스터 체험 △E-Sports 대회 △가족이 함께하는 천연세제만들기 △비눗방울, 풍선아트 △심폐소생술 체험 △경찰, 소방 포토존 등 재미있고 알찬 놀거리로 어린이들은 즐거워했다. 

이 외에도 창원시 전역에서는 「제101회 어린이날」을 기념하는 다채로운 행사가 동시에 개최됐다.
