[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 창원특례시 구진호 성산구청장은 15일 성산구정자문단(위원장 문영두)과 ‘스마트플러그 지원 사업’ 추진을 위한 협약식을 가졌다고 보도자료를 통해 밝혔다.

이번 ‘스마트플러그 지원 사업’ 협약을 통해 고독사 고위험 장·노년 1인가구 22명에게 스마트플러그를 배부해 비대면으로 구정 소식 등을 전달하면서 자연스럽게 안부를 수시로 확인해 고독사를 예방할 계획이다. 

‘스마트플러그’는 TV, 전기밥솥 등 가전제품의 전원 플러그에 연결하여 사용하는 사물인터넷 장치로, 전력 사용량 등을 감지하여 일정시간 변화가 없을 경우 담당공무원에게 알림문자가 발송되어 신속하게 안부확인을 할 예정이다.

성산구는 고독사를 예방하고 1인가구의 정서적 지지를 위해 △성산희망 배달부 사업, △따듯한 한끼 건강식 지원 사업 △ 두루두루 보살핌의 날 등 사업을 추친하고 있다.

구진호 성산구청장은 “스마트플러그 지원 사업을 통해 1인가구의 위기상황을 즉각 인지하고 상황에 맞는 대처로 사회적 안전망을 강화해 나갈 것이며, 다양한 돌봄시스템을 구축해 고독사 예방에 최선을 다하겠다” 고 말했다.
