[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 중국동포연합중앙회 총회장 이·취임식이 지난 11일 영등포구에 위치한 연변예식장 연회장에서 진행됐다.

지난 2014년 중국동포들이 모여 결성된 중국동포연합중앙회는, 지난 10여년 동안 김성학 총회장이 이끌어 오다 제2대 총회장으로 김미정씨를 선출했다.

신임회장으로 선출된 김미정 총회장은 취임사를 통해 "새로운 중국동포연합중앙회를 이끌어 나갈 것"이라고 선언하고, 제2기의 슬로건으로 "전승·단합·상생·협력·개혁·봉사로 전임회장이 꾸준하게 진행해 온 중국동포민속문화대축제를 계승해 나갈 것"이며, '재한동포 리더양성 프로그램' 등의 새로운 프로그램을 공약했다.

이날 행사에는 주한중국대사관에서 3명의 영사가 참여해 중국동포들을 축하 했으며, 주한중국대사관 영사교무처 (戴敏凯) 부주임영사는 축사를 통해 김성학 전임회장에게 수고와 격려를 전하고 김미정 신임회장에게는 축하와 당부의 말을 전했다.
