[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도는 27일 도지사 주재로 긴급회의를 열고 노인 가장세대 등 취약계층에 대한 긴급 난방비 지원을 결정했다.
경남도는 최근 최강 한파와 난방비 인상으로 인한 취약계층의 난방비 부담을 덜어주기 위해 기초생활수급자, 차상위계층, 노인가장세대 등 취약계층을 대상으로 지원하기로 했다고 밝혔다.
경남도의 난방비 긴급 지원대상은 먼저 노인가장세대 1만 4천 세대에 난방비를 6만 원에서 10만 원으로 인상한다. 또한, 정부의 에너지바우처 지원사업 대상 7만 가구에 5만 원을 추가로 지원해, 경제적 어려움으로 난방을 하지 못하는 사각지대를 미연에 방지하고 두터운 복지를 실현하기 위해 도의 재해구호기금을 활용할 계획이다.
