[브레이크뉴스=이성용 기자] 경남도의회 박준 기획행정위원장은 19일 (사)한국신문방송인협회가 주최한 ‘대한민국 사회발전대상’ 지방자치의정 부문에서 대상을 수상했다.
‘대한민국 사회발전대상’은 정치·경제·사회·문화·지방자치 등 각 분야에서 중추적 역할을 통해 사회발전에 공이 큰 인물을 선정하여 그간의 희생과 노고를 격려하기 위해 수여하는 상이다.
박준 의원은 실질적인 지방자치 실현을 위해 노력해 왔으며, 제12대 경상남도의회 전반기 기획행정위원회 위원장으로 행정사무감사를 이끌어 집행부에 111건의 시정 및 건의사항을 처리하도록 요구하였으며, 2023년 당초예산안 심사 시 재정운영의 건전성과 효율성을 높여가는데 주안점을 두고 면밀한 심사를 주도했다.
특히, 박 위원장은 도정질문을 통해 집행부에서 발주한 연구용역을 전수 조사하여 미공개 관행, 높은 수의계약률, 연구부정 의심사례 등을 지적하여 감사 및 제도개선을 촉구한 바 있다.
