[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 조규일 진주시장은 대안동 진주문화제작소에서 2022 청년네트워크 위원들과 9월 ‘시민과의 데이트’시간을 가졌다고 22일 밝혔다.

청년네트워크는 진주시에 거주하거나 활동하는 만 19세에서 39세 미만의 청년들을 대상으로 공개 모집해 총 42명을 선발해 구성, 진주시와 청년을 잇는 소통창구 역할을 하고 있다. 

올해 1월 2기가 구성돼 청년의 삶과 관련된 청년정책을 청년들이 주도적으로 발굴·제안하는 청년 대표 소통기구로 활동 중이다.

이날 간담회에 참석한 청년위원들은 청년 고용 확대 및 일자리 질 향상, 청년이 머물고 싶은 도시를 위한 문화·예술 활동 활성화 및 청년 복지에 대해 논의됐다.

이날 조규일 시장은 “청년들이 일하고 즐기며 머물고 싶은 청년 친화도시를 추진하고 있다”며“양질의 일자리가 넘쳐나는 미래산업도시를 만들기 위해 정주행 중”이라고 말했다.
