[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 박완수 경상남도지사는 12일 오전 도청 도정회의실에서 보육정책 간담회를 주재했다.

 

이날 간담회에는 박완수 도지사를 비롯해 김정숙 경상남도 어린이집연합회장을 비롯한 연합회 임원 등 총 17명이 참석한 가운데 진행됐으며, 연합회는 교직원 인건비, 수당 인상 등 처우를 개선하고 더 나은 아동 보육환경의 조성방안을 건의했다.

 

이에 박 도지사는 “아이 낳고 키우기 좋은 여건을 조성하는 일은 범국가적으로 중요한 과제”라며 “어린이집연합회 관계자를 비롯한 종사자 여러분들이 힘든 근무환경 속에서 보육을 책임지고 계신 것에 항상 감사드린다”고 격려했다.

 

경남도는 아이와 부모가 행복한 보육환경을 조성하고자 돌봄 사각지대 해소와 함께 맞춤형 보육서비스로 보육 품질을 향상시키고, 보육기반 조성을 통해 보육의 공공성을 강화하는 다양한 정책을 추진하고 있다.

 

특히, 부모들의 양육부담을 덜어주고자 어린이집 재원 아동의 보육비와 가정양육아동의 양육수당 등을 지원하고, 보육교직원 인건비 지원과 함께 시간제‧365일 24시간 보육서비스를 제공해 공백을 최소화해 나갈 계획이다. 

 

박완수 도지사는 “모두가 행복한 보육을 위해 현안을 세심하게 살피고 미진한 부분은 좋은 정책들로 채워 나갈 것”이라며 “보육현장 최일선에서 근무하는 보육 교직원의 처우와 근무환경 개선을 위해 복지부, 시군 등과 긴밀히 협력해 나가겠다”고 말했다.
