[브레이크뉴스=양영석기자] 하동군은 지난 24일 화개면 의신마을 베어빌리지 선학관에서 ‘첨단기술활용 스마트 지원사업 준공보고회’를 개최했다고 29일 밝혔다.

첨단기술활용 스마트 지원사업은 2019년 전남 완도군과 경북 청도군이 전국에서 처음으로 선정돼 추진됐다.

이어 2020년에는 스마트 지원사업의 중요성과 늘어나는 수요를 반영해 행정안전부에서 총 사업비 48억원, 전국 4개 자치단체의 공모 신청을 받아 하동군이 최종 선정돼 2020년 12월부터 사업을 추진해 2022년 6월 준공됐다.

첨단기술활용 스마트 지원사업은 국비 6억 원, 군비 6억 원 등 12억 원의 사업비를 들여 의신마을을 비롯한 5개 마을을 대상으로 ‘숨·쉼·삶이 있는 탄소 없는 별천지 마을 활성화 사업’이란 주제로 추진됐다.

본 사업은 첨단기술을 활용해 인구감소 등 농산어촌 지역이 가지고 있는 안전지역의 취약점을 해소하고 경쟁력 있는 지역 자체 자원을 활용한 관광, 농가소득 증대 등 지역경제 발전 기반을 조성해 탄소없는 마을 별천지 권역 활성화를 도모하기 위해 조성됐다.

주요 내용은 △청정 자연환경 실시간 알림 서비스 △리모트 셀피서비스 △전기버스를 활용한 마을 투어 서비스 △스마트 헬스케어 서비스 △지능형 선별 관제 CCTV 구축 △유튜브 스튜디오 및 홈쇼핑 서비스 △통합 운영 플랫폼 시스템 구축 등이다.
