이날 진행한 프로그램은 경남 18개 시·군 자원봉사센터 및 도자원봉사센터, 경남 람사르 환경재단이 함께 참여하는 탄소중립 캠페인의 일환으로, 지난 해에 이어 올해도 정양늪 해설사가 설명하는 습지 탐방과 습지 정화 활동을 진행했다.

특히, 이번 프로그램에는 습지 생물의 아름다움을 체험하고 알리기 위해 습지에서 자라는 쌍떡잎식물 ‘마름’을 활용한 마름열매 가방고리 만들기와 습지 생물 및 풍경에 대한 도감 만들기 시간을 가졌다.
