[브레이크뉴스=이성용기자] 창원특례시는 12일 결혼이민자 30명을 대상으로 남해 이순신 순국공원 일대로 결혼이민자 현장체험학습을 다녀왔다고 13일 밝혔다.

이번 프로그램은 ㈜위민의 “2022 취약계층 문화유산 향유 프로그램 『동행, 문화유산』”과 연계, ‘거룩한 영웅의 길’을 주제로 ▲이순신 순국공원·이락사 해설관람 ▲이순신 체험_신호연 만들기, 신호연 카드게임, 무예체험 등으로 실시됐다.

낯선 땅으로 시집와 문화·언어 차이 등으로 복합적 어려움을 겪는 결혼이민자 대상으로 다채로운 체험을 통한 한국사회에 대한 폭넓은 이해, 심리·정서 지지를 통한 사회관계망 형성을 지원하고자 현장체험학습 형식으로 진행됐다. 

창원시가족센터는 다문화가족의 적응지원 및 가족건강성 향상을 위해 한국어교육, 부모교육, 찾아가는 다문화교육 등 다양한 프로그램을 운영하고 있다.

프로그램에 참여한 한 결혼이민자는 “센터에서 배웠던 ‘이순신’ 장군을 오감으로 느낄 수 있는 기회였다”며 “함께 공부하는 친구, 언니와 현장체험학습을 와서 너무 즐겁고 재미있는 시간을 보낼 수 있었다”며 참여 소감을 밝혔다.
