[브레이크뉴스=정철규 기자] 진주시는 행정안전부가 주관한 2026년 햇빛소득마을 공모사업 1차 공모에서 정촌면 소곡마을이 최종 선정됐다고 3일 밝혔다.

 

햇빛소득마을 공모사업은 저수지 등 유휴부지에 주민 참여형 태양광 발전시설을 설치해 발전 수익을 주민에게 배분하거나 마을 복지사업에 활용하는 주민 자립형 소득 창출 사업이다.

 

정촌면 소곡마을은 두량저수지 일원에 총사업비 16억원을 투입해 998.4kW 규모의 수상 태양광 발전시설을 조성하는 사업으로 국비 융자 85%와 자부담 15%로 마련된다.

 

소곡마을은 소곡리 96%, 예상리 93% 등 전체 주민의 약 95%가 사업에 동의, 주민 51명이 참여해 협동조합을 설립하는 등 주민 수용성과 자발적인 추진 의지를 보였다.

 

협동조합은 오는 8월부터 전기사업과 개발행위 허가 등 행정절차를 진행하고, 오는 10월 착공해 12월 준공 및 상업운전을 시작할 계획인 것으로 알려졌다.

 

진주시 관자는 "이번 사업은 유휴부지를 활용해 주민들에게 안정적인 소득을 제공하는 상생형 모델이다"며 "2차 공모 신청 마을도 최종 선정될 수 있도록 노력하겠다"고 말했다.
