[브레이크뉴스=황민성 기자] 남해군이 외출이 어려운 어르신과 취약계층의 정서 회복을 지원하기 위해 지역 협동조합과 손잡고 치유농업 기반 돌봄사업을 추진한다.

 

남해군은 지난 28일 남해상주동고동락협동조합과 ‘온(溫)마을 남해 치유정원’ 사업 추진을 위한 업무협약을 체결했다고 밝혔다.

 

이번 사업은 고용노동부 공모사업 선정으로 추진되며, 민간의 치유농업 전문성과 지자체 복지 서비스를 연계해 돌봄 대상자의 정서 지원과 생활 활력 회복을 돕는 것이 핵심이다.

 

협약에 따라 남해군은 정서 지원이 필요한 어르신과 장애인 등 대상자를 발굴·연계하고, 협동조합은 대상자 가정에 허리와 무릎 부담을 줄인 ‘나만의 높임틀밭’을 조성한다.

 

또 전문 교육을 받은 10명의 치유매니저가 정기적으로 가정을 방문해 원예 활동을 지원하고, ‘남해 다랑논 치유농업 프로그램’ 참여와 재배 기록형 치유 키트 제공 등을 통해 지속적인 심리 회복을 돕는다.

 

남해군은 이번 사업이 외부 활동이 제한된 어르신들이 식물과 교감하며 일상의 즐거움을 되찾고, 지역 내 통합돌봄 체계를 강화하는 계기가 될 것으로 기대하고 있다.
