경남도립미술관은 오는 7월 29일부터 11월 1일까지 기획전 '알루미늄 오이: 정연두'와 '송정인: 실로 만든 메아리'를 동시 개최한다고 14일 밝혔다.

 

이번 전시는 한국 현대미술을 대표하는 두 작가의 작품을 통해 이동과 정체성, 노동과 기억 등 우리 사회가 지나온 시대의 흔적을 예술적으로 재해석하는 데 초점을 맞췄다. 역사 속에서 크게 조명받지 못했던 개인의 삶과 공동체의 기억을 다양한 매체로 풀어내며 관람객들에게 새로운 시각을 제시한다.

 

1·2층 전시실에서 열리는 '알루미늄 오이: 정연두'는 진주 출신의 세계적인 현대미술가 정연두의 신작을 중심으로 구성된다. 사진과 영상, 설치, 조각, 사운드 등 36점이 전시되며, 경남도립미술관이 새롭게 제작을 의뢰한 작품도 포함됐다.
