[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군은 오는 13일부터 28일까지 군민체육공원 인조구장과 용주구장 일원에서 '2026 추계 전국고등축구대회'를 개최한다고 9일 밝혔다.

대한축구협회가 주최하고 경상남도축구협회, 합천군체육회, 합천군축구협회가 공동 주관하는 이번 대회에는 전국 42개 고등학교 축구팀이 참가해 16일간 우승을 놓고 경쟁한다.

대회는 조별 예선을 거쳐 본선 20강부터 토너먼트 방식으로 진행된다. 고학년과 저학년 결승전은 각각 27일과 28일 열리며, 모든 경기는 유튜브를 통해 생중계된다.

합천군은 폭염에 대비해 경기장 스프링클러를 상시 가동하고, 운영 인력에게 넥쿨러와 식염포도당을 지급하는 등 온열질환 예방 대책을 마련했다.
