[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군은 제38대 부군수로 김현미 전 거창군 부군수가 취임해 공식 업무를 시작했다고 7일 밝혔다.

김 부군수는 이날 충혼탑을 찾아 참배하며 순국선열과 호국영령을 추모한 뒤 합천군 발전과 군민 안녕을 다짐하는 것으로 첫 공식 일정을 시작했다.

통영 출신인 김 부군수는 1991년 당시 삼천포시 총무과에서 공직생활을 시작했다. 이후 경상남도 예산담당사무관을 비롯해 청년정책추진단장, 소상공인정책과장, 여성정책과장, 문화유산과장 등을 역임했으며, 2025년 7월 부이사관으로 승진한 뒤 거창군 부군수를 지냈다.

합천군은 김 부군수가 예산과 지역경제, 문화, 청년정책 등 다양한 행정 분야에서 실무 경험을 쌓은 행정 전문가라고 설명했다.

김 부군수는 "도청에서 쌓은 행정 경험을 바탕으로 경상남도와 합천군을 잇는 가교 역할을 충실히 수행하고, 김윤철 군수를 중심으로 공직자들과 함께 군정 발전을 위해 최선을 다하겠다"고 말했다.
