▲ 합천군, 여왕기 전국여자축구대회 성료…44개 팀·1,500명 참가

[브레이크뉴스=강동호 기자] 합천군이 지난 15일부터 26일까지 군민체육공원 인조구장에서 열린 제34회 여왕기 전국여자축구대회를 마무리했다.

대한축구협회와 스포츠서울이 공동 주최한 이번 대회에는 전국 초·중·고교 44개 팀, 선수단 1,500여 명이 참가해 12일간 경기를 치렀다.

부문별 우승은 초등부 경남남강초, 중등부 울산현대청운중, 고등부 울산현대고가 차지했다. 

준우승은 각각 부산SAHAWFCU12, 경기양평G스포츠클럽단월WU15, 전남광양여고가 기록했다.

합천군은 이번 대회가 전국 선수단과 관계자의 방문으로 지역경제 활성화와 스포츠도시 이미지 제고에 도움이 된 것으로 평가했다.

군은 축구대회와 전지훈련 유치를 지속 확대해 스포츠마케팅을 강화하고, 전국 단위 스포츠대회 개최 경쟁력을 높여 지역경제와 관광 활성화를 함께 추진할 계획이라고 밝혔다.
